PUB-Library 8.0
PUB Library 8.0 is distributed as a gzipped source tarball.
The file pub-8.0.tar.gz contains the source
for all supported archtictures.
After downloading do the following steps:
- unpack the archive:
tar xfz pub-8.tar.gz
or without GNU-tar: gunzip <pub-8.tar.gz | tar xf -
- configure PUB for your architecture and compile the library:
./configure
or use make menuconfig if you have
the dialog utility and prefer a menu driven configuration.

Known bugs
- pubrun script does not handle -e,-m and -p correctly. Fix: Use pubd with --run=...
Unstable development snapshots
You may try a snapshot of the next PUB version, the latest one is pub01-26-2007.tar.gz.
But have in mind: This is a snapshot of our work, not an official release.
