We introduced the possibility of using virtual processors and implemented that these processors may migrate from the actual real machine to a less loaded machine.

The ALCOM-FT final release 8.0 of the PUB library can be downloaded from http://www.upb.de/~pub/ together with a comprehensive documentation. It works under a varitey of Linux OS on i386 platforms. This release includes stable process migration procedures, load balancing routines, and it provides the possibility for realizing any customized load-balancing methods.
