Welcome to my home-page! I am computer scientist in the group of Burkhard Monien in Paderborn. My reasearch interests include parallel algorithms and programming, and algorithms and tools supporting the efficient parallelization of applications.

I am working especially on partitioning and load balancing for parallel adaptive finite element calculations. The work is carried out with support of the SFB-376, within the project A3 (balancing dynamical networks).
PadFEM (Parallel adaptive FEM) is the environment putting all things together to do adaptive FEM in parallel.
